Austin Terris graduated from the University of Michigan in 2017 with a degree in Choral Music Education and a minor in Business Administration. Throughout his time in college, he sang in DJs A Cappella, University Choir, Orpheus Singers, Chamber Choir, meridian vocal ensemble, and Out of the Blue, a prison-outreach choir. For three years, he served as the vocal music teacher at Dicken Elementary School, where he instructed Young 5's-5th grade students. Currently, he teaches private voice lessons, co-directs the competitive high school a cappella group Skyline Blues with Lyn CieChanski, and is the tenor section leader at the First Baptist Church of Ann Arbor. Austin believes that singing in a choir has the power to change lives, and he's committed to providing as many students as possible with meaningful musical experiences.
