Katie Ryan

Katie Ryan teaches elementary vocal music in the Ann Arbor Public Schools where she has spent more than a quarter of a century at Angell Elementary School. She loves building community through music amongst the 300 + students aged preschool through fifth grade.

Katie is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Master’s Degree in Music Education. She is delighted to work with talented young university students and their beginning field work experiences in music education.

Katie has recently completed her second level of Orff training and is excited about this hands-on approach to learning.

Katie delighted to live in a community that supports the arts and opportunities, such as Ann Arbor Youth Chorale, for young people to experience the arts directly.
